Following the Chocstress’s (repeatedly) disappointing experience with Munchies, I thought I’d spare her the Mint Munchies review and do it myself. In 1995 the confectionery formerly known as "Mintola" (near-identical in appearance to Munchies, but consisting of plain chocolate with a mint fondant centre) was renamed "Mint Munchies".

Nestlé launches The Golden Collection, featuring new flavours of Aero, Milkybar, Munchies and Smarties". They look just like regular Munchies, but consist of dark chocolate with a mint fondant centre – and no crunchie bit.

The original variety of Munchies are individual milk chocolate-coated sweets with a caramel and biscuit centre. Judging by Chocstress’s review, I suspect these are a little better than regular Munchies but I’m still not overly fond of them. In September 2019, Nestlé launched a new flavour of the Munchies confection - Chocolate Fudge Brownie.However, being somewhat more restrained, I managed to limit myself to a single packet rather than her… er… 7 packs.
