MP Landscape and Garden Designs offer a wide range of services from full design, construction and project management to a basic design for the DIY gardener.
For construction we use approved contractors, the principal contractor that we work alongside is SB Paving whom we work with on a regular basis.
ALL CONTRACTORS USED ARE FULLY INSURED AND GUARANTEE THEIR WORK.
As well as private clients we also work for; local authorities, schools and nurseries designing and constructing children’s play areas , landscape contractors and property developers. We also work in conjunction with Barkers Fencing and Landscaping Centre and undertake freelance work for Tobermore Concrete Products.

We firmly believe and are passionate about getting the most from your garden all year round. This can easily be achieved by using strategically placed illuminated water features and a designed garden lighting scheme to create different lighting effects from garden features, structures and planting.
Why during the winter months do we draw the curtains on our gardens? When with lighting they are a living, moving ever changing scene to be enjoyed from the warmth and comfort of your own home.

We are pleased to now be able to supply high quality fire pits manufactured in the UK by Cornish Pride Engineering; a small family business specialising in the design and manufacture of quality fire pits. Each fire pit is hand fabricated to the highest quality and workmanship and is therefore a far superior product to a bulk produced fire pit, these fire pits really do have to be seen to believed.

Computer Aided Design
We have now converted from hand-drawn plans to one of the best Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs on the market today. After investing thousands of pounds and many hours training we can now offer, with this new system, an even more comprehensive service for both private and commercial clients.

Contemporary Metal Artwork
We are pleased to announce that we are now working in conjunction with contemporary metal art sculptor Steve James who we commissioned to create a stainless steel water feature and a set of three obelisks. Steve James specialises in stainless steel sculptures which can be individually commissioned.

We now supply and install the latest concept in creating shaded areas within your garden which are both practical and a great design feature for your outdoor areas.
Sail shades provide a cooler area during the heat of the day whilst giving excellent protection form the sun’s harmful rays. These great products are no strangers to the hotter climates of Australia, New Zealand and South Africa where they are being used in many different applications and, with temperatures rising in Europe and the UK, more and more people are considering the benefits of sail shades against the garden parasol or umbrella as they allow more space and create an architectural feature.
Nurseries and schools are also finding sail shades useful to provide shaded areas for children playing or for outdoor lessons during the summer months and, because they are semi permanent, they can be taken down during the winter and stored away.
Sail shades are stylish and contemporary and fit into most people’s outdoor living space, they provide effective shade and can make an impractical space practical. Very importantly sail shades are excellent barriers against harmful UV rays that cause skin cancer. Cancer Research UK reported a total of 86,179 new cases of both malignant melanoma and non melanoma skin cancer in the UK in 2005.
Sail shades come in different sizes, shapes and colours and are a design feature on their own or overlapping more than one to create a contemporary architectural feature.
Concept Gardens
We have four exciting concept gardens available to view: Contemporary Courtyard, Relaxation Garden, Country Retreat and Modern Hideaway. Each garden has been designed with an individual style, using different hard landscaping materials and planting effects, providing a real insight to what can be achieved in a small area. Using proven design techniques any area whatever it’s size or shape, whether it’s hot and sunny or cool and shady can be transformed into a garden to be enjoyed and admired.
More and more people are now aware that a garden which is well designed is an investment in their home which can also be enjoyed rather than a luxury to be considered if time and resources allow.
We offer a range of design services from our basic design service for the budding DIY gardener to a fully project managed design and garden construction. If you want your garden to be transformed all in one go then you need to establish your overall budget from the outset and we will provide a design in line with your tastes and requirements which can be achieved within your budget. Alternatively, as with any home improvements, a complete garden transformation does not have to be carried out all in one go. When you are fitting a new kitchen you don’t necessarily fit a new bathroom, bedroom and living room all at the same time. The solution is to get a plan together, a design for what you want to achieve for the overall finished effect, then, as and when your budget allows you can implement different stages of the design resulting in the completed project of your ideal garden to suit your lifestyle.
